Good as New!

Today we had William's recheck with Dr. Gilpin. William was such a trooper. Even though he was scared out of his little body, he didn't cry when, they took his cast off or re x-ray his arm. Thankfully Dr. Gilpin said his arm is all better, but to keep him quiet and still for the next three weeks. We have not been able to do this for the past 2 1/2 years so this out to be very interesting.

William loved bathtime tonight. He used his watering can to clean off his arm. He said "Look Mommy, I wet my arm!!!" He was so excited to be able to sit and splash in his tub.

Way to Go Edward!

Well Upward soccer has started once again. So our Saturday mornings are pretty much busy. Our team is the GAMECOCKS, and we are 1-1. Today Edward scored his first goal. We were all excited for him.

Poor Baby!

The saying that accidents happen at or near your home is true! Picture this: Two Wednesday afternoons ago, I am trying to call out Edward's spelling words, trying to keep an eye on William as he is throwing, rolling & kicking a ball, and trying to get supper ready for us to go to church. I told my little daredevil SEVERAL TIMES to put the ball away before he got hurt. He of course did not listen and yes I know I should have taken the ball away from him, but..... Well anyway, he either flipped over or fell over the ball landed wrong on his left arm and now we are on week 2 with a fractured bone near his elbow. He has a long blue cast. It could have been alot worse and we head back to Dr. Gilpin in Florence on Thursday. Hopefully all will be healed and he will get his cast off. This minor setback has not, much to my dismay, slowed him down. He is still as rough and tough as ever! But I guess we wouldn't want him any other way.
