More Summer Fun

We have had a blast this week! The boys tried fishing again, even hooked one in its eye!(Gross!) Edward and Caroline tried to catch butterflies, but caught a worm instead. One rainy afternoon we baked and decorated cupcakes. Then we chased after a runaway peacock!!!!

Beach Bums

Well we were really lazy and busy at the beach last week. It is hard to believe that Eddie spent 9 long days there! (but he enjoyed it although he would never admit it!)

I was a little nervous because the first night William cried himself to sleep wanting to go home! He quickly fell in love with Nanny's beach house and digging in the sand, but didn't want any sand on his body. "It's dirty!" he would say. Edward had a blast on the boogie board and even wiped out knocking his face on the ocean floor leaving a skinned up face. He also loved collecting hermit crabs in a bucket. Laken was a true dare devil-trying anything and everything!!! We had a huge time at the beach and can't wait to go back.

The boys love spending time with their grandparents. YaYa Blake pretty much lets them do whatever they wish to. William loved his picnic on the porch, and Edward loved navigating YaYa on the gator all over the yard!!
